at 'Breakfast at Schubot's'

A top consultant from the
internationally-known
Buccellati Silver Ltd. will
be guest speaker at "Break-
fast at Schubot's," an Israel
Bond event open to 1983
Golda Meir Club and
Diamond Trustee members,
it was announced by
Miriam Shenkman, break-
fast chairman.
The event, a gourmet
champagne breakfast, will
be hosted by Sydell and
Douglas Schubot at Jules R.
Schubot Jewelers in Troy at
10 a.m. Wednesday.
The hosts, active leaders
in the Israel Bond cam-
paign, were charter mem-
bers of the Bnai Brith Cen-
tennial Lodge and Chapter
and are on the board of the
Archives of American Art
and the Advisory Board of
the Founders Junior Coun-
cil of the Detroit Institute of
Art.
Douglas Schubot is a
past president of Cen-
tennial Lodge and Tem-
ple Beth El Brotherhood.
He has served on the
boards of Temple Beth
El, the Hundred Club of
Detroit, the Boy's Club
and Girl's Club of Met-
ropolitan Detroit and the
Better Business Bureau
of Detroit and Southeast-
ern Michigan.
He is president of the
Standard Club North and is
a member of Franklin Hills
Country Club, Renaissance
Club, Variety Club, Press

Detroit and the Hundred
Club of Flint.
Mrs. Schubot holds mem-

dala, who will present a his-

tory of silver' usage and
demonstrate the creation of
elegant table settings. The
house of Buccellati, which
hand-fashions many of their
silver holloware and flat-
ware pieces, is a family
enterprise founded at the
turn of the century in Mi-
lan, Italy.

Betty Cohen of Oak Park
and Sidney H. Cohen, also of

engagement of their daugh-
ter, Anita Cohen, to Marc
Zelmon, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Morris (Barbara) Zel-
mon of Detroit. Miss Cohen
earned a Bachelor of Sci-
ence degree at Michigan
