Named to State Commission

Gov. James Blanchard
has announced the ap-
pointment of Charles S.
Wolfe to the Michigan
Commission on Aging.
Wolfe is executive vice
president of the Jewish
Home for Aged in Detroit.
He is also assistant adjunct
professor in the School of
Medicine at Wayne State
University, and is an ad-
junct instructor at Michi-
gan State University's
School of Osteopathy.
Wolfe has served in var-
ious leadership capacities
locally and nationally, and
currently is the vice
president of the National
Association of Jewish
Homes and Housing for the
Aged.

tion held recently at the
Amway Grand Plaza in
Grand Rapids. Dr. Terebelo
received the "Rookie of the
Year" award from the asso-
ciation.

1 lb. eggplant, cut into 1/2-inch
cubes
1 chopped green pepper
1/2 cup chopped green onion
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 lb. stewed tomatoes
1 8-oz. can tomato paste
1/2 cup dry red wine
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. sugar
1 lb. thin spaghetti
grated mozzarella cheese
Heat oil in a large pan.
Brown all the vegetables in oil
for about 10-15 minutes. Stir in
stewed tomatoes, tomato
paste, wine and spices. Cover
and simmer, stirrring often, for
about 40 minutes. Serve over
hot drained spaghetti.
Sprinkle cheese on top.
Serves 6.
