MIF THE DETROIT JEWISH NEWS Minnie Lewis Samuel Aaron Minnie Lewis, a member of Jewish communal organ- izations, died June 2 at age 89. Born in Bay City, Mich., Mrs. Lewis was a member of Temple Beth El, past finan- cial secretary of the Beth El Sisterhood and a member of the Natonal Council of Jewish Women. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Miller (Ann) Weisman and Mrs. Leslie (Jean) Fleisher; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Lipton of New York and Mrs. Nina Tyser of Chicago, Ill.; five grand- children and one great- grandson. Samuel Seaman Aaron, for 40 years in the top ranks of the printing industry in Detroit, died June 2 at age 81. A resident of Miami, Fla., for the past 10 years, Mr. Aaron shared with his wife many community interests, primarily in the Bnai Brith, Anti-Defamation League and Zionist and Israeli causes. He was the founder and owner of the Michigan Typesetting Co., which he owned from 1933 to the 1950s. Mr. Aaron was a member of Cong. Shaarey Zedek, Craftsman Lodge of the Masons, the Interna- tional Typographical Union and the Moslem Shrine Club. He leaves his wife, Lil- lian; a daughter, Mrs. Clar- ence (Harriet) Salzberg of Birmingham; a sister, Mrs. Sam (Rose) Granitz of Southfield; a brother, Cecil of Farmington Hills; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Interment Detroit. Isadore Faber Isadore Faber, a retired Chevrolet salesman, died June 4 at age 81. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., Mr. Faber was a Chevrolet salesman for 50 years. He retired six years ago. He was a 50-year member of Pisgah Lodge Of Bnai Brith. He leaves a son, Gary; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Shirley) Rosenberg and Mrs. Sheldon (Ruth) Korby; a brother, Fred of West Palm Beach, Fla.; two sis- ters, Mrs. Clara Sachs and Mrs. Ann- Zalman; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
