he Best of Everything

owner of The Rhinoceros
Restaurant downtown . . .
after a disc operation at
Beaumont Hospital.
CARL STEGER at Red
Cedars, Telegraph and Nine
Mile, is off the piano bar bit
. . . doing more singing and
piano styling, both of which
he is most proficient .. .
Piano bars have their place,
but Carl is much more an
overall entertainer than
one restricted to a short
number of seats . . . Al-
though not as much as be-
fore (Scotch 'n Sirloin,
Jakks, etc.), Carl at Red
Cedars still intermingles
his audience repartee.
It is a tremendous credit
to Carl's ability as an
entertainer that he can ad-
just to any situation ... The
wide expanse at Red &dais
gives his vocal and piano
abilities a clearer sound .. .
especially, also, with two
sound systems . . . People
who have never before
heard him are enjoying Carl
as he sings and plays oldies
with much customer de-
light.
Carl's repertoire and
extreme - knowledge of
songs, composers, years,
movies, etc. are highly ap-
preciated ... and it is a
r him ...
pleasure to hea
Folks enjoy dancing to Carl
.. and there is not much
d. oubt but what Red Cedars
owners Lenore and Jack
Freed can be nothing but
highly pleased with him.
