QUARTET
smelt as hors d'oeuvres
(free) that simply delighted
our parents. My father liked
them so well he ordered
smelt for dinner, and I mean
a plate full.
"Everything we ordered
was delicious, such as scrod,
barbecue chicken and ribs
and lemon sole. All of it was
really great. But what I
really want to rave about is
Benji's own bread; Honey
Wheat Caraway that is
baked, we're told, right at
the restaurant. It is the best
bread, beyond a doubt, I
have ever eaten.
"I'd also like to mention
our waitress. Sandy was a
doll. We couldn't have been
served better. We received
lots of attention and fast
and courteous service. But
here's the 'clincher' of the
day; the mothers at the
table were presented with a
potted Geranium plant for
Mother's Day. "It was very
nice and very thoughtful.
"These people are to be
commended and applauded
as restaurateurs. I recom-
mend Benji's highly to all
your readers and my
friends."
