ticipants in the movement
joined in the formal dedica-
tion of the Grosberg
Haverim Home.
It is the fifth such
Haverim Home, supervised
by the JARC now fully ac-
tivated. It is located on
Normandale Avenue in Be-
verly Hills, off Lahser Road
north of 12 Mile.
Dedicated in memory of
Sadie and Charles Gros-
berg, the newest of the
JARC Haverim Homes was
made possible by the
generosity of the Grosbergs'
children, Mr. and Mrs.
Samuel Frankel, Mr. and
Mrs. Merwin Grosberg and
Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Grant.
The Frankels had prev-
iously provided for an-
other Haverim Home, lo-
cated on Kingshire Place
in Southfield, which
bears their names.
The impressive ceremony
at the dedication of the
Grosberg Haverim Home
was marked by the affixing
of a mezuza by Rabbi Efry
Spectre of Adat Shalom
-Synagogue, who recited the
traditional prayers and in
an address marking the
event drew upon the ethical
Jewish teachings to corn-
mend the efforts of JARC
leaders and supporters in
providing succor where
needed in behalf of the
handicapped.

Major talks commemorat-
ing the event were by Nor-
man Wachler and Joyce
Keller, president and
executive director, respec-
tively, of the JARC.
Jean Frankel greeted the
gathering with an expres-
sion of gratitude for the
tributes to her parents'
memory. She said her, fam-
ily is deeply moved by the
honors accorded them
through such a memorial
tribute.
