Officers and members of the board of directors will be elected. The following slate has been submitted by the Nominating Committee: President, Stephen Klein; First Vice President, Natalie Pelavin; Second Vice President, Frank Kasle; Third Vice President, Carl Schwartz; Secretary, Harry Binder; and Treasurer, Mimi Golds- tein. Nominated to serve a three-year term on the board were: Stan Fauer, Hal Goldberg, Ron Goldstein, Peter Goodstein, Nancy Hanflik, Hy Klein, Edward Powers and Robert Segar. Mark Schwartz was nomi- nated to serve a two-year term on the board. Nomi- nated to serve a one-year term on the boafd were: Richard Harris and Jeff Fishier. Harris was named to the current board of di- rectors to fill a vacancy. Elaine Fishier chairs the annual meeting committee. Camp Enrollment Opens Camp Maccabi, sponsored by the Flint Jewish Federa- tion at Holiday Hills, Camp Copneconic, Fenton, is tak- ing enrollment for summer. Flint Obituaries Jacob Block Jacob Block, a member of Cong. Beth Israel and a charter member of Temple Beth El, died May 6 at age 87. He is survived by his wife, Sarah; two daughters, Irene Klein and Betty Jane Coughlin; a sister, Dorothy Baum; six grandchildren and three great-grand- children.
