Beef Casserole
By NORMA BARACH

2 lbs. ground meat
dash pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 green pepper, diced
1 red pepper, diced
1 eggplant, peeled and diced
1 cup tomato juice
1 medium onion, diced.
Mix everything together, put
into greased casserole dish
and bake uncovered at 350 de-
grees for 45 minutes. Serves 5.

Fruit Salad

2 oranges, peeled and diced
3 bananas, cut in thin slices
8 dates, pitted and diced
1/2 cup white -raisins
3 golden delicious apples,
diced
1 /4 cup shredded coconut
2 tsps. vanilla
Mix all ingredients together,
and serve immediately. Serves
6-8.

drive at a noon luncheon
Monday in the home of
Doreen Hermelin.
Mrs. Tarnow, vice
president of membership,
and Mrs. Steinberg, chair-
man of the luncheon, will be
assisted by Mesdames Be-
nson, Katzman, Arkin,
Davis, Metzger, Tanzman,
Sharon Fleischman, Weiss,
Lily Kolb and Aaron.
The auxiliary funds ongo-
ing projects for residents at
the Home for Aged
facilities at Borman
Hall and Prentis Manor.
Among them are the li-

brary, birthday gifts, Butzel
Center vacations, flowers at
holidays, Hanuka gifts, out
trips, resident programs
and games parties. Volun-
teers come from the auxil-
iary's membership.
