IThe Best of Everything

Blind Fish, 10 Mile and Jef-
ferson . . . St. Clair Shores
. . . Wednesday 'through
Saturday.
TWENTY-FIRST AN-
NIVERSARY at Jakks, 10
Mile and Greenfield, will be
celebrated Tuesday . . . Free
buffet from 9 p.m. and lots of
Billy Rose Quartet music
for dancing . . . He just
signed;a new long-term con-
tract (one year) at Jakks.
IT STARTED OUT
being called Western Steak
House Family Dining ..
but folks told owner Harry
Pincus to make it more
friendly . . . so the name is
Harry's Family Restaurant
. . . It's the new spot on 10
Mile and Greenfield in New
Orleans Mall . . . where
Dubbs, Spiros and Green-
Ten eateries were located.
Just seeing its new inside
is worth the price of admis-
sion . . . Harry and wife
Nikki have turned the place
completely around . . . The
decor is outstandingly dif-
ferent . . . so clean looking,
too .. . The seating capacity
has been lowered by 60 .. .
to 95 because of new
entrance and stationary
salad bar jutting across the
room's center . . . However,
it makes for a cozier and
more intimate atmosphere.
Harry's has taken off in
whirlwind fashion . . . If
the employees remain as
cordial and efficient the
rest of the way as they
were during its first
week, Harry and Nikki
Pincus should have a
winner . . . Pleasing cus-
tomers, bringing food
fast and helping maintain
its cleanliness are tre-
mendous assets.
P.S. - Wonder why no
address or phone number on
Harry's carry-out menu?
is
ATTRACTIONS
now Monday through
Saturday . . . at Excalibur
on Northwestern and
Franklin . . . til May 28.
LOOK FOR ANOTHER
delicatessen-restaurant to
open in the near future .. .
on Northwestern north of 12
Mile.
WHY ISN'T Father's
Day as big an attraction at
restaurants as Mother's
Day? . . . Or anywhere else
for that matter . . . C'mon
guys, let's start talking
about our equal rights.
"JOIN THE ARMY, Get
a Free Dessert" . . . That's
what posters in C.A. Muer
restaurants are telling
diners . . . As part of the
Salvation Army's efforts to
feed the needy, the
attention-getting posters
offer Muer patrons a free
dessert coupon . . . through
May . . . when they leave an
item of canned goods at the
special collection bins in the
restaurants.
The coupons give patrons
a choice of ice cream, sher-
bet, mint fudge sundae or
strawberry shortcake .. .
Every Muer restaurant has
been on the United Founda-
tion Honor Roll each year
since the company was
founded in the mid-1960s

THIS SUNDAY . . . 7

land Mall . . . will be the

tional Party-ers).
