Newsman to Address Annual
Sinai Guild Installation Lunch

Detroit's past 30 years
will be the subject of Chan-
nel 7 reporter Jim Her-
rington's address at the
30th luncheon and annual
meeting of the Sinai Hospi-
tal Guild at 11 a.m. Thurs-
day at Cong. Shaarey
Zedek.
The 4,500-member , guild
not only provides hospital
volunteers and community
education programs, but
has raised $623,000 for its
Arch of Friends Endowment
Fund, which helps support
medical care, and an addi-
tional $855,000 for research
through its gift shop.
Leah Snider will be re-
installed as president of the
guild. Mrs. Snider is a past
vice president of the
Women's Division of the
Jewish Welfare Federation,
a past president of Greater
Detroit Chapter of Hadas-
sah and a past chairwoman

of the Israel Bond Commit-
tee.
Other Officers to be in-
stalled include: Hilda
Krawitz, Phyllis New-
man, Marjorie Feder-
man, Estelle Elkus, vice
presidents; Shirley
Obron and Shirley
Podolsky, treasurers;
Ruth Gurwin, Shelby
Tauber, Roslyn Aronow
