pointment of Dr. Richard L.
Douglass as head of its In-
stitute on Aging. The Home,
under Dr. Douglass' direc-
tion, will expand its educa-
tional programs while seek-
ing and utilizing available
research funds.
Dr. Douglass received his
PhD degree from the Uni-
versity of Michigan in Pub-
lic Health Administration
and was associated with the
university's Institute of
Gerontology. Dr. Douglass
has published numerous ar-
ticles and papers related to
the physical and emotional
problems of the elderly.
Included in Dr. Douglass'
responsibilities will be the
coordination and expansion
of educational training for
staff, professionals, resi-
dents and- families.
