ketball in high school and at
WSU.
For the past 13 years
Hurshe has taught physical
education in the Southfield
Public Schools, seven years
in elementary school level
and six years in the middle
school level. He currently
teaches at the Thompson
Middle School in Southfield
and has coached both boys
and girls basketball at
Southfield High School and
boys basketball at Bir-
mingham Groves.
Hurshe is an outdoor
games specialist who has
spent the past 12 years as a
program supervisor and
playground director for the
city of Southfield. In addi-
tion, he is a professional
High School Athletic Asso-
ciation referee for both foot-
ball and basketball and has
supervised youth basket-
ball programs at the Jewish
Community Center the past
two years.
The two nine-day
Sports Skills Camp pro-
grams at Camp
Tamarack are intended
for boys and girls age
8-10. Children receive
personalized instruction
each morning and spend
afternoons and evenings
in the regular residential
program.
Openings are still avail-
able for the two sessions be-
tween June 23 and July 12.

6 tomatoes, diced
2 green peppers, diced
1 large onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 cubed eggplant (optional)
1/4 tsp. oregano
salt, pepper
6 eggs
Fry onions in oil in large skil-
let until golden. Saute remain-
ing vegetables, mixed with salt
and pepper to taste, until soft,
stirring occasionally to pre-
vent sticking. Add oregano.
Pat down and cover bottom of
frying pan. Pour eggs on top of
vegetables (sunny-side-up
fashion). Cover skillet and
simmer for 5 minutes on a low
flame. Cut into 6 servings.
