(Peggy) Winkelman when
the Jewish National Fund
honors them as "Couple of
the Year" June 22 at Cong.
Shaarey Zedek will be the
Tree of Life Award.

Jack Zwick, president of
the Jewish National Fund,
in announcing the honor,
noted that the Tree of Life
Award "is the highest form
of recognition that the JNF
can give. The Winkelmans
richly deserve this testimo-
nial to their devotion not
only to Jewish welfare, but
to the civic and business
community as well." The
award includes the naming
of a major JNF project in Is-
rael in the Winkelmans'
honor.
The Winkelmans' Tree of
Life recognition is one of the
few to be given in America
by the Jewish National
Fund this year.
