Deports Former Nazi
WASHINGTON — Hans
Lipschis, a Lithuanian im-
migrant who had agreed to
leave the United States
rather than face war crimes
charges, was deported this
week.
Lipschis is the first per-
son to be deported by U.S.
authorities in nearly 30
years for charges of Nazi
war crimes.
