Enterprise" on the eve of Is-
rael's 35th anniversary.
Rom will report on Israel's
economic progress during
the past 35 years and dis-
cuss current developments
in its economy.
Born in Tel Aviv in 1950,
Rom is a graduate of
Techion — Israel Institute
of Technology and received
an MBA degree at the Uni-
versity of Michigan. During
the Yom Kippur War he was

nounced by Sam Rothberg,
national Israel Bonds gen-
eral chairman.
Born in Youngstown,
Ohio, Kahn has lived in
Michigan for 45 years. He
attended Western Michigan
and Wayne State Univer-
sities, where he majored in
speech and drama, and
served in the United States
Air Force as a B-29 engineer
during World War II.
While in the Air Force,
he also served as the
editor of one of the
largest Air Force news-
papers in the United
States and as the direc-
tor, producer, writer and
star of three different
shows for the Western
Flying Training Com-
mand.
Since 1958, Kahn has
been active in developing
the small tool trade between
Israel and industrial firms
in the United States.
In 1967, through his
business associations, he
became active in the Ameri-
can Technion Society. He is
a past president and chair-
man of the board of the
American Technion
Society, Detroit Chapter.
A past president of
Tam-O-Shanter Country
Club, Kahn was honored by
the club and the state of Is-
rael as the recipient of Is-
rael Bonds' Ben-Gurion
Award.
