81st birthday of the
Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi
Menahem Schneerson.
Schneerson's birthday on
the Hebrew calendar was
last Thursday, the 11th of
Nisan.

that the region "is not
appropriate" for a Palesti-
nian state. He called the
Golan Heights "of vital im-
portance to the security of
the Galilee settlements, and
the gathering of military in-
telligence . . ."
He visited the Good Fence
on the Israeli-Lebanese
border and commented on
the openness of the border.
He added that security ar-
rangements, including an
early - warning system, are
critical for Israel.
It is the enemy whom we
do not suspect who is the
most dangerous.
