Reagan Meets Aguda Leader

President Reagan met with Rabbi Moses Sherer,
president of Agudath Israel of America, this month.
Some 160 members of Agudath Israel visited Wash-
ington to meet with Administration officials, includ-
ing Elchonon Friedman of Oak Park.

Christians Attend Seder

starting monday, april 11

The Jewish Community Council conducted a
Passover workshop recently at Temple Emanu-el for
more than 100 Christian clergy. Rabbi Lane Steinger
of the temple conducted a "model Seder" for the par-
ticipants. Pictured from left, are: Kaye Bell, Margaret

Ann Arbor Student Zionist
Organization Hosts MK Pe'il

The Progressive' Zionist
Caucus will present former
Knesset member Meir Pe'il
today and Saturday at the
Michigan Union on the
University of Michigan
campus.
Professor at Tel Aviv
University, Pe'il will speak
on "Prospects for Peace in
the Middle East."
A Shabat dinner will be
held at 5 p.m. today, fol-
lowed at 8 by Pe'il's talk and
at 10 by Israeli folk-dancing
instruction.
On Saturday at 10 a.m.,
there will be a discussion

on "Shalom Achshav
(Peace Now) and the Is-
raeli Left." Brunch will
follow. Workshops will
begin at 1 p.m.
At 3:15 p.m. Saturday,
there will be a talk on "The
Situation in Israel Today,"
and more workshops will
begin at 4 p.m.
