The Michigan Chapter,
American Friends of the
Hebrew University, has in-
formation available about
programs at the Hebrew
University in Jerusalem.
The Institute of Contem-
porary Jewry, a graduate
and post-graduate teaching
and research institute, of-
fets MA and PhD degrees in
several areas of contempor-
ary Jewish life, as well as
extension activities which
offer the student a wide
range of research tools. Stu-
dents may take their de-
grees at the institute, or
study there for one or two
years as part of their pro-
gram at their universities.

Seminar on New Relationships
Slated in Southfield by SPACE
"Once More . . . With
Feeling," a day-long sym-
posium on new relation-
ships, will be presented by
SPACE, a non-sectarian
community service of Na-
tional Council of Jewish
Women Greater Detroit
Section, in cooperation with
the Southfield Public
Schools Community Service
Department April 17 at
Southfield High School.
Guest speaker for the
symposium, which begins at
8:30 a.m., will be Dr. Hen-
drie Weisinger, a licensed
psychologist and professor
at the UCLA Extension
Center. He is the author of
the best-seller ; "Nobody's
Perfect."
The symposium will
explore some of the central
issues people face when
they have ended a relation-
ship and will offer methods
and skills to try again."
Through the use of lec-
tures, exercises, and
small group discussions,
participants will be
asked to examine their
values, attitudes, and
fears regarding new rela-
tionships. Open frank
discussion will be
encouraged.
SPACE is a community
service for separated,
widowed and divorced men
and women and their
families. It conducts weekly
drop-ins, support groups;'
workshops, lectures, holi-
day activity programs, re-
treats. The agency also pub-
lishes a monthly newslet-
ter.

of their daughter, Debra
Cheryl, to Fred Sheldon
Margolis, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Harry Margolis of Oak
Park.
Miss Weider earned a BA
degree in psychology and
sociology at the University
of Michigan and is an MSW
degree candidate at the
U-M School of Social Work.
Her fiance earned a BA de-
gree in , psychology at
Wayne State University,
attended the Jewish
Theological Seminary of
America and is pursuing
studies towards a degree in
podiatric medicine at the
Ohio College of Podiatric
Medicine.

hearing impaired people in

Jewish hearing impaired
individuals (age 18-30) to
help set up such a program.
