AT MAPLE French Election May Not Change Mideast Policy PARIS (JTA) — French Middle East policy is ex- pected to be unchanged de- spite the possibility that President Francois Mitter- rand may reshuffle his SoCialist government in the aftermath of Sunday's sec- ond round of municipal elec- tions. Among the ministers who may be replaced are Prime Minister Pierre Mauroy, who was re-elected Mayor of Lille, and Foreign Minister Claude Cheysson. A large section of the French Jewish community blames Cheys- son for what they see as "an unfriently attitude" toward Israel. But French sources stress that Cheysson only carries out Mitterrand's policies. Nevertheless, a fre- quently mentioned possible successor to Cheysson in a new government is Jacques Attali, an Algerian-born Jew who is a special adviser to the president and is active in Jewish organiza- tions. • Book Club Features Volume by WSU Prof. ORT Computer Technology (Double Fries, Slaw, Bread & Dessert) TUES., MARCH 22 WED., MARCH 23 THRU SUN., MARCH 21 U111111:1f,. 851-6400 Carry Outs Available Where The Action Is!
