Members of the Berman and Radzinski families,
originally of Kaluszyn, Poland, donated this fully
equipped ambulance to Magen David Adom "in
cherished memory of all their relatives who were vic-
tims of Nazi Holocaust." Pikuach Nefesh Awards
were presented to the families on behalf of the Ameri-
can Red Magen David for Israel by Dr. John J.
Mames, chairman of the Michigan Region, and Dr.
Morris Starkman, chairman of the Medical Dental
Council. The Berman and Radzinski families donated
their first ambulance-in 1978.
