Tour Scheduled
The city of Southfield will
offer a display of work by
local artist Nori Geffen at
the Parks and Recreation
Gallery in the Southfield
Civic Center Tuesday
through March 15. Ms. Gef-
fen's work will be on display
from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mon-
day through Friday and
from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Satur-
days.
The 12th annual Michi-
gan Opera Theater "Opera-
in-residence" tour will
begin Monday with a fully
mounted production of
Mozart's comic opera "The
Marriage of Figaro," per-
formed in English, in five
Michigan communities.
The tour also will include
productions of "Rumples-
tiltskin," "Gallantry." Mas-
ter classes in opera produc-
tion and in opera theater
also will be offered to ad-
vanced senior high stu-
dents.
