Sol Steinbruck

Dr. L.S. Linkner

Sol D. Steinbruck, a food
distributor, died Feb. 13 at
age 65.
A former Detroiter of
Scottsdale, Ariz., Mr. Stein-
bruck was the former owner
of the S and M Biscuit Co. in
Hamtramck. He also
worked for the Crescendo
Real Estate Management
Co.
He was a member of
Cong. Bnai David, a past
officer and one of the found-
ers of Albert Einstein Lodge
of Bnai Brith.
Mr. Steinbruck was an
excaped Polish POW and
underground fighter in
Poland during World
War II.
He leaves his wife, Min-
nie; three daughters, Mrs.
Rena Shanaman of Pleas-
ant Ridge, Mrs. Robert
(Randi) Levy of Farmington
Hills and Mrs. Sheldon (Be-
the) Jarcaig of Windsor,
Ont.; a sister, Mrs. Ethel
Weintraub of Connecticut;
and two brothers, Fred and
Harold, both of New York.
Interment Detroit.

Harold Robinson, former
owner of Robinson Furni-
ture, died Feb. 13 at age 67.
A former Detroiter, Mr.
Robinson lived in Highland
Beach Fla., for the past 14
years .
He was a former board
member of the United He-
brew Schools and a found-
ing member of Temple
Emanu-El. In Florida, he
was the owner of Wel-
lington Interiors and the
Preferred Stock Furniture
Co.
, He leaves his wife, Mar-
ion; a son, Donald of Pacific
Grove, Calif.; two daugh-
ters, Lanie Barnett of
Chicago, Ill., and Mrs.
Richard (Judy) Cohen of
Lake Grove, Ore.; a sister,
_Mrs. Audrey Miller of Boul-
der, Colo.; and four grand-
children. Interment De-
troit.

Dr. Leonard S. Linkner, a
medical doctor and internist
with offices in Southfield,
died Feb. 15 at age 65.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio,
Dr. Linkner was graduated
from the University of
Michigan Medical School in
1943. He was a fellow of the
American College of Physi-
cians, a member of the
American Society of Inter-
nal Medicine and a clinical
assistant professor at
Wayne State University
School of Medicine.
In 1976, he was apointed
by Gov. William Milliken to
the Michigan State Board of
Medical Laboratory Control
Standards. He was a former
chief of medicine at Critten-
ton Hospital and on the
staffs of Harper-Grace,
Sinai and Crittenton Hospi-
tals. Dr. Linkner was the
current secretary and foun-
der of the Health Care Unit
of Bnai Brith.
He was a member of
Temple Beth El, Ashlar
Lodge of the Masons,
Moslem Shrine and was a
captain in the Army Med-
ical Corps during World
War II.
He leaves his wife, Ron-
nie; two sons, Robert and
Dr. Edward of Ann Arbor; a
daughter, Nancy Linkner
Lieberman; his mother,
Mrs. Albert (Estelle) Link-
ner; and seven grand-
children.

Earl Roberts

Earl David Roberts, a
residential and commercial
builder, died Feb. 11 at age
66.
Born in Detroit, Mr.
Roberts resided in Pompano
Beach, Fla. at the time of
his death.
Fla., was the co-
founder of the Globe Buil-
ders, modernization and
home improvement which
was founded in 1954, and
Globe Garage Builders and
Cement Co.
He was a former member
of Temple Israel.
Mr. Roberts leaves his
wife, Caryl; a son, Barry of
Bloomfield Hills; three
daughters, Mrs. Al (Patti)
Solomon of California, Mrs.
Harvey (Janis) Eisman of
Flint and Mrs. Israel
(Donna) Zucker of Califor-
nia; two sisters, Mrs. Frank
(Eleanor) Castleman of
Farmingotn Hills and Mrs.
Henry (Shirley) Berlow of
Huntington Woods; and 10
grandchildren. Interment
Detroit.

Dr. Nathan P. Levin, el-
dest of the four sons of the
late Rabbi Judah L. Levin,
died Feb. 13 at age 96.
A former Detroiter, Dr.
Levin resided in Los
Angeles, Calif., at the time
of his death.
He had been the director
of the Los Angeles County
Department of Health and
in later years published
papers on the subject of
symbolic logic in math-
ematical journals.
Dr. Levin is survived by a
son, Gerald of Los Angeles;
a brother, Abraham J. of
Franklin Village; and
grandchildren.
