The Midrasha, College of
Jewish Studies, and the
Community Network of
Jewish Singles are plan-

Jewish singles, "Not For
Couples Only."
'I'he three-part series will
be held on Sunday and on
March 3 and 17, at the main
United Hebrew Schools'
LaMed Auditorium. Each
program will begin at 7:30
p.m. Refreshments will be

Yiddish Books
The Sholem Aleichem In-
stitute of Farmington Hills
has joined in a nation-wide
project to collect, preserve
and distribute Yiddish
books.
The books will be sent to
the National Yiddish Book
Exchange in Amherst,
Mass., where they will be
distributed to various
American colleges and uni-
versities for use in Yiddish
courses.
The institute is asking
people to bring their un-
wanted, Yiddish volumes to
its area drop-off point lo-
cated at 17600 W. Eight
Mile Rd. Monday-Friday
between 10 and 11:30 a.m.
Books can also be deposited
at local synagogues or tem-
ples.
