BBYO Activities
Savage BBG will hold its
annual winter dance 8 p.m.
Saturday at the main
United Hebrew Schools
building. The theme of the
dance will be "The Savage
Switch" and participants
are asked to dress as the op-
posite sex. Prizes will be
awarded for the best cos-
tume. Music will be pro-
vided by C.G. Productions.
The community is invited.
The AZA Basketball
League will meet Sunday at
Oakland Community Col-
lege, Orchard Ridge cam-
pus. This week's games will
feature Beber vs. Samson
and Kennedy/Benny vs.
Jolson at 9 a.m.; Goode vs.
Wallenberg and Akiba vs.
L'Chaim at 10 a.m.; and
Rose vs. Herzl at 11 a.m.
Beber, Hart and Rose AZAs
are tied for the lead of Di-
vision I while L'Chaim and
Wallenberg are tied for the
lead of Division II. Spec-
tators are welcome.
The BBG Volleyball
League will meet Sunday at
Oakland Community Col-

availability of the Arlene
Vivian Moss Memorial
Israel Program Schol-
arship. The scholarship is
available to registered
members of Michigan
BBYO to enable them to
attend programs in Israel.
Consideration will be given
both to need and to past ac-
tivity in the BBYO pro-
gram. Priority will be given
to those applicants par-
ticipating in the BBYO Is-
rael Summer Institute. For

BBYO announces it is
taking registration for its
summer leadership pro-
grams at the Bnai Brith
Beber Camp in Muk-
wonogo, Wis. The Chap-
ter Leadership Training
Conference will run for
two weeks in two sepa-
rate sessions: July 5-18
and July 20-Aug. 2.
CLTC is a unique pro-
gram that focuses on "how,
tos," teaching participants
how to plan and run chapter
activities that may prev-
iously have seemed out of
reach. The Shirkada is a
two-week program that
runs from Aug. 3 to 16. The
Shirkada program is for
BBYOers who want to
sharpen their skills while
learning the latest tech-
niques in teaching Israeli
dance and music. Appli-
cants may choose either
program or attend both for a
total of four weeks. Schol- 1
arships are available for
