Os- hratt was a graduate of the Reali High School in that city and held Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Arts degrees in Arabic language and Islarnic culture from the Hebrew University. She joined the Foreign Office in 1960 and was ap- pointed consul in the sum- mer of 1981. John Jacobson, a social worker for VVayne County for 20 years, died Jan. 21 at age 86. Born in Pennsylvania, Mr. Jacobson lived most of his life in Detroit and re- tired to Arizona three years ago.
