Swartz, assistant executive
director of the council, the
residence has 71 one- and
two-bedroom units, more
than half of which are re-
nted.
All applicants for resi-
dence at I.L. Peretz
House must be capable of,
independent living,
maintaining themselves
and their apartments in
the activities of daily liv-
ing. The apartments will
be opened to individuals
or couples with one part-
ner at least 60 years old,
50 if disabled.
Each apartment contains
a living room with a dining
area, one or two bedrooms, a
complete kitchen, private
bathroom, a large storage
room and ample closet
space. They also have car-
peting, a stove, a two-door,
frost-free refrigerator,
smoke detectors, an air-
conditioning sleeve and a
balcony. Two - bedroom
apartments have 1 1/2 baths.
There will be special fea-
tures at the Peretz House,
such as a communal dining

nounces that a breakfast
report rally. meeting will be

the Labor Zionist Institute
meeting room, Oak Park.
The guest speaker will be
Bernard B. Jacobson,
executive vice president of
National Committee for
Labor Israel, who will pre-
sent an up-to-date report of
the Histadrut situation in
Israel and the United
States.
