Metropolitan Savings' IDA is the best way
to get high yields and liquidity in an insured money market account

D

wring the past few years, many people withdrew their deposits from America's savings
associations and banks to invest in money market funds. Although most of these
funds were not insured, they offered you high returns and easy access to your money.

Times have changed.

Today, Metropolitan Savings' Insured Daily Assets (IDA) account offers the yield and easy
access of your broker's money market fund ... with the security and convenience you've
always enjoyed at Metropolitan ... along with service charge-free checking.

High yields

You can open your Metropolitan IDA with as little as $2500. Maintain a minimum balance
of $2500 in your IDA and earn high money market rates, compounded each month. Your
yield will change weekly and reflect current money market conditions. If your minimum
balance drops below $2500, you'll still earn the 5 1/4% MetroCheck rate.

Security

Chances are, your investment in a brokerage fund is uninsured. Your Metropolitan Insured
Daily Assets account is fully insured to $100,000 by the FSLIC.

Convenience

We're right in your neighborhood. Any individual or business can open an IDA at any of
Metropolitan's convenient offices. You can deposit any amount as often as you wish.

Easy access

There are several ways you may withdraw your funds. You may get same-day access to your
money (subject to normal verification, of course) at any Metropolitan office. Or you may
write up to 3 checks per month on your IDA account.

In addition, you can telephone transfer funds or authorize automatic transfers between your
IDA and your 5 1/4% MetroCheck account. Please contact your nearest Metropolitan office for
full details.

Free checking

When you open your individual IDA, you'll also receive a service charge-free checking
account (for individuals only). And remember, you can transfer funds to your 5 1/4%
MetroCheck account and write as many MetroChecks as you wish.

Visit your neighborhood Metropolitan office for full details on the Insured Daily Assets
account. You'll find Metropolitan people ready to welcome you back where you belong.
