have a joint meeting 10:15
a.m. Sunday in the
synagogue.

Guest speaker will be
Nancy Good, doctoral can-

at the University of Michi-
gan. A Middle East political
analyst, Ms. Good will re-
port on recent events in the
Middle East.

daughter of Dr. Isaac and
Raisa Khaimchayev. Her
parents applied to emigrate
to Israel in 1973, but have
been continuously refused
exit visas.
The reason given for the
refusal was "Raisa's secret
work as an electrical
engineer."
After the application to
emigrate was submitted;
Isaac lost his job at a 're-
search institute. He has
been supporting his fam-
ily for the past five years,
doing menial labor.
Isaac's father, Shmuel
Khaimchayev, 75, resides
in Tel Aviv. In a medical
