deon Bibles to patients at
Sinai Hospital elicited---a
reply froni Rabbi Allan M.
Blustein, chaplain at the
hospital:
"The Pastoral Care De-
partment of Sinai has both
Jewish and Christian Bi-
bles available for patients
upon request. We try to the
best of our ability to see to it
that Jewish patients get
only Jewish reading matter
while non-Jewish patients
get only non-Jewish read-
ing materials. Hopefully
this minimizes potential
difficulties although it does
not eliminate them.
"Three-quarters of our
patient load is non-Jewish.
Since I have been here, I can
safely say that we've had at
least 100 requests for the
New Testament from our
Christian patients. We of
