THE DETROIT JEWISH NEWS 600 Attend JNF Women's Donor Nearly 600 persons attended the annual donor luncheon of Women of Jewish National Fund held at Cong. Beth Achim. According to President Shirley Kraft, the luncheon proceeds will go toward the women's goal of raising $250,000 for the restoration of Kiryat Shmona. Rabbi David A. Nelson, a vice president of Detroit JNF, extended greetings on behalf of the JNF of Detroit and applauded the efforts of the women. He presented Mrs. Kraft with a plaque commemorating the estab- lishment of the Women of JNF Youth Summer Camp in the American Indepen- dence Park in Israel. Ed Rosenthal, executive direc- tor of JNF in Detroit, re- layed the greetings from Charlotte Jacobson, president of JNF of America. Rabbi Isaac Swift, guest speaker, spoke on !! WHY WORRY !!
