This year's all-day pro-
gram will concentrate on
the theme "Israel — David
or Goliath." The morning
session will highlight a dis-
cussion on the history of Is-
rael, while the luncheon
session will cover U.S. and
other nations' policies
toward Israel today. Both
topics will be covered by Dr.
Pollack.
This year, prospective
contributors to the Allied
Jewish Campaign through
Women's Division will be
invited to the event. They
will be notified during a
Women's Division Allied
Jewish Campaign-Israel
Emergency Fund telethon
to be held Jan. 9-10.
Diane J. Klein is the
chairman of the 1983 In-
stitute . Day, and Pola
Friedman is associate
chairman. Also provid-
ing assistance are Melba
Winer, division vice
president, and Renee
Mahler, adviser. Jane
Sherman is president of
Women's Division.
The registration fee for
the day, which includes
luncheon and valet parking,
is payable in advance to the
Federation office. Reserva-
tion deadline is Jan. 6.
