graduated from the Univer-
sity of Michigan with a
bachelor's degree in educa-
tion and received a master's
degree, specializing in
teaching the learning dis-
abled, from Oakland Uni-
versity. She holds a certifi-
cate in special education
from Michigan State Uni-
versity. - -
Her husband earned a
Bachelor of Science de-
gree at U-M and earned
his MD degree at Wayne
State University's medi-
cal school. He completed
a residency in internal
medicine at Sinai Hospi-
tal and is finishing a fel-
lowship in allergy and
clinical immunology at
Henry Ford Hospital.
Following a Bermuda
honeymoon, the couple is
residing in Southfield.
