PTACH Melave Malka Aids
Learning Disabled Children
PTACH — Parents for
Torah for All Children —
will hold its second annual
melave malka/concert 8:30
p.m. Jan. 8 at Young Israel
of Oak-Woods.
The melava malka will
include a catered dinner,
followed by a cabaret-style
concert by the Neshoma Or-
chestra and Singers.
The orchestra and singers
have performed throughout
the U.S. and Canada, and
combine modern Israeli
music with traditional
Rabbi Moshe Schwab, right, dean of Cong. Bnai
Jacob — Kollel Institute, presents a plaque to Mr. and
Mrs. Jacob Nosanchuk on the occasion of their 75th
wedding anniversary. Plans are for a Judaica library
named for the Nosanchuks to be housed at Bnai
Jacob.

cooked, fresh or frozen
Melt butter, add spices and
gently saute the nuts for a few
minutes. Add cooked Brussels
sprouts, stir to coat lightly with
butter and heat.

sides. Place the vegetables
back on top of the meat. Add
water. Cover pot and bring to a
boll. Lower heat to simmer and
cook for about three hours or
until tender. Add more water if

Survivors of the Nazi
Holocaust who now live in
Detroit, Cleveland and Is-
rael will participate in a
new study to determine how
they survived psychologi-
cally.
Dr. Boaz Kahana of Oak-
land University, his wife
Dr. Eva Kahana of Wayne
State University and Zev
Harel of Cleveland State
University will conduct the
study, which has been
funded by the National In-
stitutes of Health.
They plan to study sur-
vivors of death camps, labor
camps and those who hid
from the Nazis.
