This year's theme, "For- ests and Personalities," can be integrated into a course of social studies. It features 15 personalities for whom forests have been named in Israel, and examines their link to the Jewish people and their homeland. Lesson plans are avail- able for two age-levels. A map of Israel serves to trig- ger inquiries about the loca- tions of forests, cities and regions. A poster for fhe classroom and one for each student are included. Tu b'Shevat will be cele- brated at a musical festival Jan. 29 at Cong. Beth Achim. The program will be sponsored by the Erev Chapter of the Young Women of JNF. Jabotinsky Unit Hanuka Party Due Saturday -Musical entertainment and a Hanuka candlelight- ing ceremony will highlight the annual Hanuka party of the Jabotinsky Society of Herut to be held 8 p.m. Saturday at the Jimmy Prentis Morris Branch of the Jewish Community Center.
