Women's Division of Israel Bonds for her work on
behalf of the Israel Bonds Fashion Show last month.

Katchke, with a statue of Moses which was presented
to her; Miriam Shenkman; Ceilia Schwartz and Leah
Snider. Mrs. Katchke was cited for spending hun-

Cranston Sees

believe the 98th Congress,
scheduled to take office in
January, will slash the level
of U.S. military and eco-
nomic aid to Israel.
The Senator added how-
lever, that there was some
concern among congres-
sional members about
policies of the government
of Premier Menahem Begin
following the massacre of
Palestinians in west Beirut
ast September.
Cranston, a member of
the Senate Foreign Rela-
tions Committee, made his
remarks during the first
Myron Mayer Lecture spon-
sored by the Public Pro-
ams and Policy Commit-
tee of the Federation of
Jewish Philanthropies.
