• Israeli Soldier
Slain in Lebanon
TEL AVIV (JTA) — An
Israeli soldier was killed
and • two others were
0. wounded when assailants in
a passing car opened fire on
their jeep about one kilome-
ter north of Sidon in Leba-
non last Friday.
The slain soldier was
identified as Karim Ali
Amar, 23, of the Druze vil-
lage of Hurfeish, a number
of whose Druze residents
have been killed in the
Lebanon war. Amar had
been called up for reserve
duty only three days before
his death.
A cause may be inconven-
ient, but it's magnificent,
It's like champagne or high
shoes, and one must be pre-
pared to suffer for it.
