cation, Dr. Alfred
Gottschalk, HUC-JIR
president, states that it is
in recognition of Dr. Or-
linsky's outstanding con-
tributions to the field of
biblical scholarship and
in tribute to his years of
service as professor of
Bible at Hebrew Union
College-Jewish Institute
of Religion."
The presentation of this
volume to Dr, Orlinsky will
take place on Dec. 19 at the
Bookdale Center of the col-
lege in New York.
