No Quick Result
JERUSALEM (ZINS) —
The newspaper Haaretz
editorialized that Israelis
must not be too quick to
judge the results of the war
in Lebanon.
It quoted former 'Ambas-
sador Chaim Herzog:
"In December 1973, for
example, you would have
said that the Yom Kippur
War was an unmitigated
disaster. Now you see that it
has led to peace with Egypt.
"This war has broken the
logjam of the Palestinian
question and it's given a
completely new dimension
to that issue."
