He was the president of Fidelity Build- ing Co. and was one of the pioneers of subdivision de- velopment in Detroit. Mr. Duchan was active in Ykaterinaslov, a local Yid- dish society. He is survived by his wife, Bessie; three sons, Milton and Herbert, both of Oak Park, and Dr. Harold of West Bloomfield; two sis- ters, Mrs. Sol (Helen) Lub- liner and Mrs. Jack (Es- telle) Eisenstein, both of Brooklyn, N.Y.; eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
