luncheon. The donor is
scheduled for noon Dec. 14
at Gong. Beth Achim.
Richard H. Lobenthal, di-
rector of the Michigan
Region, Anti-Defamation
League of Bnai Brith, will
be the guest speaker at the
pre-donor rally. Lobent-
hal's topic will be "Anti-
Semitism — A Current Re-
view."
This JNF Women's 53rd
annual donor event is aimed
at completing the three-
year challenge to raise
$250,000 for restoration of
the rocket-scarred Kiryat
Shmona area in Israel.
Doris Markel is program
chairman. Sadie Goren is
chairman of the day and
Fanny Rosenblat will give
the invocation. For infor-

HMC Parlor on Sunday

HMC Director Charles H.
Rosenzveig will give sup-
porters of the Holocaust
Memorial Center an update
on its progress at a parlor
meeting 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
The gathering will be at
the Orchard Lake home of
Markus and Mona
Rohtbart. Brunch will be
served.
Designed as a center for
teaching about the
Holocaust, the HMC is
being built on a site adja-
cent to the Jewish Commu-
nity Center in West Bloom-
field.

Henry
Dorfman,
chairman of the HMC
Executive Committee,
said a goal of $2 million
has been set for the con-
struction and endow-
ment of the building.
With approximately 75
percent of the total raised
to date, the parlor meet-
ing will be an opportu-
nity to raise additional
funds.

6 turkey wings
3 tbsps. oil
1 Spanish onion, thinly sliced
1 small can mushrooms,
drained
1 cup orange juice
1 cup dry white wine
1/4 tsp. pepper
water to cover
Cut turkey wings at joints.
Brown in oil. Add mushrooms
and onion slices and brown
lightly. Transfer to a casserole
dish. Mix remaining ingre-
dients together with just
enough water to cover. Bake
covered at 325 degrees until
tender, about 40-45 minutes.
Uncover and bake another 5
minutes. Baste if necessary.
Serve with noodles. Serves
4-5.
