in 1943 and is a graduate of

He is a recipient of the

Stolz Tribute

The citizens of Berlin
have again proven their ar-
tistic allegiance to Robert
Stolz, the unforgettable
composer of world renowned
melodies. Berlin has erected
a Robert Stolz monument.
On Saturday, a German
TV station will present a
concert fulfilling the wishes
of a nationwide audience.
The program will include
two of Stolz's best-known
songs. Einzi Stolz, widow of
the composer, will receive
the coveted television
trophy, "the Golden Lion."
