AZA will sponsor its annual
road rally Saturday, begin-
ning at 7:30 p.m. at
Thompson Middle School.
The rally will culminate
with a dance featuring the
band "Street Kid." Partici-
pants must bring .a map,
phone book and dictionary
to decipher the clues. For in-

BBYO will hold a Chair-
man Training Institute 1
p.m. Sunday at the main
United Hebrew Schools
building. The program is
designed for all AZA and
BBG chapter chairmen as
well as programming vice
presidents, and will focus on
how to plan effective pro-
grams, ideas in each pro-
gramming area and awards
available for recognition.
Coordinators of the insti-
tute are Mark Levin and
Missy Remer, AZA and
BBG Council programming
vice presidents.
The Great Lakes AZA
Council will hold its next
meeting 7 p.m: Monday in
the Dubin Meeting Room at
the Bnai Brith Building.
The Great Lakes BBG
Council will hold its next
meeting 7 p.m. Thursday in
the same facility. Each
meeting will focus on the
forthcoming regional con-
vention, the Council fun-
draisings, the AZA basket-
ball and BBG volleyball
leagues and participation in
the NCCJ Holocaust syn-

been named the school's top
Century III Leader.
The son of Mr. and Mrs.
Julius Chajes of West
Bloomfield, Chajes is eligi-
ble to compete with other
local winners from around
the state for one of two
scholarships and an all-
expense-paid trip to the na-
tional "Century III leaders
conference in March in Vir-
ginia.
The Century III Leaders
program is designed to
bring chapter and recognize
students who show strong
leadership abilities and an
interest in the future of
America.

recently received Awards of
Merit presented by the
American Osteopathic Hos-
pital Association (AOHA)
during its 48th annual
meeting in Denver.
Dr. Zieger, president and

Botsford, received the
award fo,r "his work in
promoting health care and
osteopathic medicine for
over 40 years in his commu-
nity."
