The material encouraged "patriotic Americans" to be aware that "preparations are formulating to reduce them (the Jews) to size," the council reported. A copy of a story calling Israeli Prime Minister Menahem Begin a "sadistic killer trained by the Red Army, who spe- cialized in torturing his vic- tims," was attached to the handout, the council said. The council believes that the anti-Semtic literature, reminiscent of the infamous Protocols of the Elders of Zion, was . distributed by The Western Front, a neo- Nazi organization. Two Sinai Chairmen Retire Sinai Hospital of Detroit has announced the retire- ment of two department chairmen — Dr. Sidney D. Kobernick in laboratory medicine and Dr. Maurice Tatelman in radiology. Dr. Kobernick built the lab virtually from scratch. He was hired by Sinai three months before it opened, and under his direction the lab has grown into 'a service that employs more than 200 persons and performs more than 2.5 million clinical pathological tests every year. It was one of the first medical labs in the area to be fully computerized. Dr. Kobernick was the first Sinai- physician to re- ceive local and national grants for fundamental re- search into arteriosclerosis. He is also responsible for starting Sinai's School of Medical Technology in 1962. Dr. Tatelman has been . DR.
