JERUSALEM (JNI) — At
the end of a long series of
negotiations, the Labor
Zionist movement agreed
not to propose its own can-
didate for the chairmanship
of the Zionist Executive,
thus ensuring that incum-
bent Arye Dulzin will re-
main unopposed at the
World Zionist Congress in
December in Jerusalem.
It was also agreed to re-
tain WZO Treasurer Akiva
Lewinsky of the Labor
Party after the congress.
The Labor Party will in-
crease its representation
from 125 to 150, Likud dele-
gates will drop from 178 to
175, the reform movement
will increase from 13 at the
last congress to 22 and Miz-
rachi will drop from 77 to
60.
