awarded the Silver Medal at
the International Wind
Competition in Helsinki,
Finland.
He was the principal
flutist of the Haifa Sym-
phony, under Sergue Com-
missione, for three years
prior to coming to the
United States. He appears
frequently in solo recitals
and is a member of the Re-
naissance Woodwind Quin-
tet. In 1981, he was selected
to be a judge for the Na-
tional Flute Association's
Young Artist Competition.
