do Yiddish anecdotes and
stories . . . She's supposed to
be tremendously good .. .
which really is much more
important than having a
name.
Also on the show with
her, as a warmup act, will
be The Kid Connection,
six youngsters age 7 to 14,
singing and dancing.

entertainment for only $4.
BECAUSE OF a type-
shifting error, last week's
article on Whitehouse
Manor should have contin-
ued with, "Our waitress at
lunch, Corrine Cummane,
was pleasant, efficient and
smiling ... Hard to beat the
Chefs Special Sirloin,
sauteed onions and mush-
rooms, topped with bor-
delaise sauce."
The strange error put it at
the end of an item about The
Golden Bowl Chinese res-
taurant, which took over
the New Garden site on
Nine and Coolidge in A & P
Shopping Center . . . Golden
Bowl hadn't been open yet
.. don't know if it serves
h. alf-pound sirloin . . . no
bordelaise sauce for sure .. .
and positively no waitress
named Corrine Cummane.

Northwestern and Franklin
.. Some of the excellent ta-
lent from Colours, like lead
singer Layne Allison, re-
mained and were added to.
In the meanwhile, the
Mel Ball Sextet returns to
the London Chop House,
where it was a fixture for
five years, ending in 1973.
