The neighborhood may
have changed . . . but so
many folks still call Roc-
ky's Pizzeria their place
to go for a lot to eat .. .
and continue to swear by
the cooking of Rocky and
Mary.
Although hardly consid-
ered among the biggies, it is
like an institution . . .
People who used to come in
as kiddies with their par-
ents are now grown up .. .
and today bring in their own
youngsters.
You might call Rocky's
Pizzeria the neighborhood
restaurant where genera-
tions go to feed generations.
DON'T BLAME owners
for running out of food when
an unexpected avalanche
occurs . . . Such was the case
recently at Irving's Deli,
Greenfield north of 11 Mile
. . . It had an overflow of cus-
tomers for a $4.48 whitefish
special . . . more than ex-
pected . . . and ran out .. .
much to the consternation
of many.
