A statement issued by the WZO Executive called on "Jews throughout the world to remain firm in their sup- port of Israel and her humanistic values." The statement was issued after Israel's Cabinet decided on a judicial inquiry to investi- gate the Beirut massacre, and it cites that decision as "proof of the moral values" of Israeli society.
