Iran Victory
to Aid Israel?

TEL AVIV (ZINS) —
Prof. Avraham Abir, writ-
ing in Haaretz, contends
that an Iranian victory in
the Iran-Iraq war would
benefit Israel.
Prof. Abir wrote that
Iraq has participated in
.three wars against Israel
and has never accepted a
ceasefire. He believes an
Iranian victory would lead
the so-called "moderate"
Arab states to make peace
with Israel in order to be
able to confront the
Khomeimi regime in Iran.
