Clemens Danny Raskin's LISTENING POST PHONE NUMBER folks can call to help Boy Scout Troop 23 from being dis- banded due to lack of assis- tance for Scoutmaster Nate Trager, is 553-4896 . . . That's Nate's number. The list of people who were once members of Troop 23 from the Hannah Schloss Bldg. of yesteryears to this day reads like a Who's Who in local Jewry . . . abso- lutely no reason whatsoever for it to disband . . . Scout- master for over 50 years, Nate Trager definitely de- serves the assistance needed to keep it going . . . He's done a fantastically wonderful job! BELATED CON- GRATS . . . to Beverly and Ed Ersher . . . of Sneaky Treats . . . on their 25th anniversary. JOE CORNELL wants to know what the world is coming to . . . CHAI FLYERS is the name of pilot's group whose progress was asked about . . . It now has 20 members (19 male, one female) . . . Some have military back- ground but all fly a little of everything (no jet pilots yet). Aside from social events, the group has had a number of programs . . . including safety, ultralight planes, women in aviation, film on instruments and some meetings where the mem- bers just sit and shoot the breeze ("hangar fly" in pilot language). New officers of Chai Flyers recently elected are Dr. Ken Dickstein, president; Paul Levine, vice president; Marshall Stern, treasurer; and Susan Sipo- rin, secretary . . . Next meeting is this Monday, 8 p.m., in the lower level con- ference room of Oakland- Pontiac Terminal . . . Group meets here the first Monday of each month. ERRATA ... He had never been taken to a real movie but he loved the ani- mated cartoons that were shown on his new machine. One day his father said, "I've got a real thrill in store for you tonight son. Charle- ton Heston is coming over for dinner. He is a great movie actor." . . . The little boy was very much im- pressed . . . "What is he, dad? A cat or a mouse?"
